When you've invested big bucks in a schmancy new website, the worse thing you can do is set and forget. To really get your ROI, you need to show your new site a little lurve.
Website Care Plans
Here's the thing about websites...
You can't expect it to do its 'thang if you're not taking care of it. And, this is where many business owners go wrong. They shell out the big dollars for a fancy new website with all the bells and whistles. Not only do they expect it to lead to a new phase of growth and promotion for their business, but they assume that it's going to just work, all day, every day, for the rest of the time without any extra attention.
Hosting
From 1 March 2026, unless otherwise offered or agreed, we will no longer host websites directly. Client will be required to secure their own hosting.
Once your WordPress website is ready to go live, you’ll need your own hosting account so you retain full ownership and control. For most clients, we recommend Managed WordPress Hosting, which is optimised for WordPress and includes backups, security and performance support.
Our preferred provider is VentraIP, an Australian-based host known for reliable performance and local support. We’ll share a recommended link (including our affiliate link) and once your website complete, we'll assist with migrating the site to your chosen hosting provider. All new website with Meridian Digital are eligible for 12 months complimentary premium plugin licences.

Hosting
Website hosting is what allows your website to live online — it stores your files and ensures your site is accessible, secure and performing well.
For WordPress websites, we recommend Managed WordPress Hosting, which is specifically optimised for WordPress and typically includes automatic updates, backups, enhanced security and performance monitoring. It’s the easiest and most reliable option for business owners who don’t want to manage technical maintenance themselves.
We don’t host websites directly. Instead, clients set up their own hosting account so they retain full ownership and control. Our preferred provider is VentraIP, an Australian-based host known for reliable performance and local support. We’ll provide a recommended link (including our affiliate link) and can assist with setup and launch if needed.

The tender loving care
As our client, we'll always be upfront with you and will always have your best interests at heart. That's why, we ask you to consider rewarding your hardworking new site, with a website care package. These packages are in addition to your hosting and are ONLY available to clients that host their website through our provider. If you use your own hosting provider (totally cool!), I'd be happy to recommend someone else to help you look after your site.
All that being said, let's check out the packages!

Diamond

The 'not so fine' fine print
The care packages above are a great way to protect your investment. As with all our work, our goal is to be transparent and open, so there are no surprises down the track (I mean, no one likes that, right?).
So, let's cover what's NOT included in the packages above.
Other quick notes
All websites require separate hosting and ongoing software maintenance once launched. Clients are responsible for setting up and maintaining their own hosting account, and we’re happy to recommend a reliable Managed WordPress hosting provider and assist with setup if needed.
Some websites also rely on premium plugins or software to support specific functionality. Any required licences are either managed by the client directly or included as part of an active Website Care & Maintenance plan. Licence renewals and associated costs are separate from your website build unless otherwise stated.
Please note that occasional downtime can occur due to software updates, security patches or planned maintenance. Where we’re managing your website through a care plan, we take steps to minimise disruption and address issues promptly.
