In their words

We used Leeha for our website build and copywriting. We cannot thank her enough for the amazing experience. Her copywriting abilities are unbelievable! She was very communicative from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. Leeha understood our scope, which was so reassuring. She made sure our migrations went 100% smoothly and surprised us with a personalised video tutorial, so the team can self-maintain the site from here. Thank you Mind Your Words & Leeha. Highly recommended.

The Task

Design a six-page WordPress website, including professional copywriting, that was user friendly, engaging and reflected the values of the business and the team. In particular, it was important to show the visitor through the words and the design that they take great pride in their work and won’t let their customers down.

Overview

Sage Energy is a family-owned and operated electrical contracting established in 2015 and providing services in and around Brisbane, Queensland. The owner, Sage Woodhouse, came across my website through a Google search and was attracted to the all-inclusive nature of my Copywriting and WordPress Website Design Packages.

Sage designed and built his original website using HTML and Notepad, but he’s never really done anything further to it. So, he went in search of a website designer to revamp his website to reflect the professionalism and growth of his business.

A quick and easy way for potential customers to get in contact or request a callback was a top priority. Plus, we wanted to help visitors develop trust with the business and the team. To do this, we used conversational copywriting and incorporated photos of Sage and his team.

Finally, it was important that the website wasn’t overloaded with content, was easy to scan and looked sleek and professional.

Something cool

Owner, Sage Woodhouse, wanted a quick and easy way for potential customers to request a callback or to get in touch. I created a form and placed it in the hero section of the homepage, making it easy for customers to quickly submit their details for a callback.

But I also went one step further. On each of the services pages, I created a sleek menu that customers could click to call or email the business. Want to know the best part? The menu sits to the side of the page on desktop and laptop and followers the user as they scroll down through the content. This means reaching out to Sage Energy is always only a click away.
